Bandar Albalawi is a Chief Legal & Governance Officer, overseeing legal strategy and corporate governance across diverse, multi-sector operations. He serves as the principal legal advisor to the Board, Chairman, shareholders, and executive leadership.
With more than 18 years of senior in-house experience, Albalawi has worked across major multinational and sector-leading organizations in insurance, pharmaceuticals, technology, industrial services, aviation, and petrochemicals. His expertise includes corporate law, governance, commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, regulatory compliance, and litigation strategy.
Prior to his current role, he held senior legal leadership positions, including Executive Director of Legal within the insurance sector, Legal Director for Saudi Arabia within the pharmaceutical sector, and Director of Corporate, External & Legal Affairs within the technology sector. He also held senior legal roles across the industrial and petrochemical sectors.
He has represented the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in international legal forums, including the legal committee of a global aviation organization.
Albalawi holds a Master of International and Comparative Law (LL.M.) from Southern Methodist University in the United States and a Bachelor of Law from King Abdulaziz University in Saudi Arabia.
